Today's healthy recipe is for a luscious chocolate treat that's a huge favorite in our house, plus it's healthy AND quick!
Using dark chocolate chips and whole milk Greek yogurt, we get an amazingly silky dessert that will not only please everyone, but is healthy for everyone with the powerhouse of antioxidants from the dark chocolate and the probiotics from the yogurt.
First we melt the chocolate chips over a low heat in a saucepan and stir frequently so the chocolate will not burn.
After the chocolate has melted, turn off the heat, but leave the pan on the warm burner as you add the yogurt. I recommend using a whisk to blend the chocolate and yogurt, so you get the creamiest effect.
Store your chocolate treat in the refrigerator. To serve, you can add berries to the top, chopped pistachios, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or even a teaspoon of vanilla while mixing the yogurt and chocolate together. There are many variations to keep this recipe fun!
