It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. Psalm 18:32
The word perfect always stands out to me in this verse. Today there is a misconception with the word "perfect"; we use it to mean flawless and ideal. This verse does not mean that God will give us a "perfect", problem free life.
The true definition of perfect is: to finish, to complete, nothing wanting.
So in the light of this definition, we see the good work that God has begun in your life He will not only finish, but He will strengthen you to the finish as well.
The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me:...Psalm 138:8
I wrote today's song to help us learn this verse and remember its truths!
