One of my favorite afternoon snacks to make for my children is my Power Punch Jello.
With few ingredients and only a few minutes, you can have a great after school snack for your family.
Using 2 boxes of Jell-O or 1 family size box, 1 packet of Vitamin C supplement, 1 teaspoon of Gatorade powder, and 3 cups of purified water (2 cups boiling and 1 cup cold), you can boost electrolytes and keep their immune systems strong during the school year. The gelatin contains protein to keep them full, amino acids for brain health, helps joints to be strong for school sports, and skin to be healthy during puberty or when exposed to harsh sanitizers.
Being healthy doesn't always have to come in pill form, but you can incorporate healthy ingredients into your food, especially when it comes to kids or anyone that doesn't like to take pills.
Mix up a quick batch of my Power Punch Jello the night before or in the morning before school, for a great family pleasing and healthy afternoon treat.
