Did you know that treating grey hair can be easy, inexpensive, and achieved at home?
Today it is my joy to share with you how I use simple pantry ingredients to treat grey hair.
(Let it be known that nutritional deficiencies can play a role in greying hair. Beauty starts from the inside out, so treat grey hair from the inside AND the outside!)💖
I had been on a quest for a while to find a natural solution for greying hair.
I naturally am a coffee colored brunette with curly hair. I'm also a busy mother that lives on a budget and doesn't have the time or the money for expensive salon visits or the time for constant at home hair dyeing. I wanted something easy and as natural as possible.
So here is my find...
You simply use an all natural shampoo of choice and 2 tablespoons of pure cocoa for brunettes, or 1 tablespoon of organic turmeric powder for lighter shades of hair. Add the cocoa powder or turmeric to your shampoo with a small funnel and shake well to combine. You may need to add and shake in a bit at a time, since cocoa powder needs a bit of "convincing" in order to combine, but it will, don't worry. Then when you shower, simply wash as usual, but leave the shampoo in your hair for 10 minutes before rinsing. Remember that this is an all natural process, so the results are accumulative and not instant. Your beautiful results will increase with your consistent use, so please be a bit patient here. Then after showering, here is what I use for styling, which also treats grey hair naturally...

In a bottle of aloe vera gel, I initially put in 3 capsules of olive oil and let it sit overnight before use, then the next day I shake well to combine. After washing and combing my hair, I simply scrunch (or finger comb) into my hair from roots to tips.
Aloe vera and olive oil combination is soothing for the scalp and hair without any greasiness or weight and both help to preserve hair's natural color and normal pH balance.
There you have it; natural beauty at a gorgeous price!
