How to Make Easy Superfood Ramen

  Have you ever been concerned with your child's insatiable appetite for junk food and empty calories? Today it brings me great joy to share with you one of my favorite ways to make a ramen packet into a superfood. My children love this so much, that they won't eat ramen any other way!

The first step is to make sure that you get the ramen with No MSG added - that is very important! I first found this kind of ramen at Dollar Tree! 

To the water and broth packet, I add a teaspoon of liquid aminos. Amino acids are amazing for muscle growth, energy production, hormone balance, and immune system support. I love including liquid aminos wherever I can in my children's diet. 

To the broth, I also add a teaspoon of nutritional yeast, which I include for it's rich nutrient profile, protein, and B vitamin content. It's also full of antioxidants! Nutritional yeast adds a nice depth of flavor to the ramen broth.

I bring this broth to a boil on the stove, because microwaving is not recommended for this recipe, and then I add the ramen noodles in the nutritious broth. With the beef ramen, sometimes I will also add a dash of dried ginger or cayenne pepper! 

When the noodles are finished cooking, I add the last ingredient of 2 slices roasted seaweed, crumbled on top. Seaweed not only adds authentic Asian flavor to the dish, but it also is an amazing source of minerals. And now you have superfood ramen to serve and enjoy - it truly is delicious!
